I also recall Drew mentioning that Morgan was the primary recruiter on Miles Rubin……

I think all of our recruits for next year have signed….but I have no idea how much weight that carries these days, or if it’s easier to get out of than it used to be.

Amorrow was the assistant whom we didn't want leaving.

Anyone have intel on what the salary pool is for our staff and the assistants? Might be time to find ways to bump that up, too.....

Very true…but he was also the assistant who was clearly on the rise towards a bigger gig, and a head coaching opportunity in the near future. It was never an *if* he’d leave, just when. So I would be shocked if they didn’t have a plan in place and replacements in mind. Hopefully the recruits he was working with had the same understanding…

Amorrow Morgan's bio on the athletic site already has been deleted.

I don't see losing an assistant coach as necessarily a bad thing. All coaches want to move to what is perceived as a better job.

Do we see another Valentine being added to the coaching staff?

There's a rumor on Twitter that Clayton Custer could join the staff. I'm guessing either that or Kyle Washington gets promoted for the "young guy" role. I hope they fill the other spot with a very experienced coach.

Custer is the name that I think popped into many minds when spots opened up. It would be a promotion for him, so it would make sense if he’d want it.

There are a few other names who have been associated with the Ramblers over the years who might like the opportunity to come back. A deep bench, so to speak, is one of the benefits of having a sustained run of legit success.

I would love to see Carson Shanks as an assistant. He's currently an assistant coach on the Milwaukee Bucks' G League team, so I think the prospects are remote.
