Uglyyyyy third quarter. Outplayed in every facet. Capped off by Braden complaining to a ref while being guarded and having the ball stolen from him mid-complaint for a fast break dunk. Outscored in the 3rd quarter 28-11.

Outscored by 17 in 3rd period. Braden having his picket picked a couple times.

I thought he was looking to our bench for a play call. Unless it happened twice.

The French first league is really solid league. There are a decent amount of former NBA players (Dwayne Bacon, Mike James, and Dontas Montiejunas all play for Monaco) as well as a lot of players from the US that went to quality college programs and played pro for years. This will be the best team we play all year. It’s great experience and will only make the team better

Games like this will probably make us appreciate the physicality Aher and Lucas provided to the team

It’s a shame that Kennedy is sidelined for these games. With his ability to drive to the hoop, I think he would’ve made at least some difference on offense against a team like this. C’est la vie.

Definitely a game you learn from. The backcuts killed us. They were cutting and scoring with ease in the 2nd half.

One of my concerns is the lack of ball handlers other than Norris. That F4 team really had 3 guys who could run the point and handle the ball...If Norris goes down this year...yikes....Also concerned that he will get worn out this year.

This is a legitimate concern. Kennedy has handled the point a few times in his career, but it is definitely not where he shines. I think Jalen Quinn will be seeing decent minutes as Braden's backup. Wish we would have picked up a grad transfer ball handler to bridge the gap.

I think the next team we play is better than this one.
