Northern Iowa Preview and Game Thread -- 2-26-2022

We are playing terrible defense. They are shooting 62.5% from floor and 66.7% from arc. We are going underneath screens and out bigs are not showing off of screens as a result they have had clean open looks. Carter got an open 11 footer. We also have 7 TOs.

As I posted, we can get good shots if we don’t turn ball over. They have 4 Tos. Those 3 To’s the difference.

We need to double Carter. We are single covering him. Make him give it up.

We need to clean this up fast.

We need to clean up defense and turnovers. Fix both and we win. Tough game but we knew it would be in Cedar Falls.

Agree terrible defense but Carter is in the frickin zone.

I'm happy with tied at the half looking at the UNI fanatic environment they're playing in

I like to think we took their best shot in the 1st half with Carter catching fire. Got down double digits. Yet, tied at half.

However, they are probably saying the same thing about Schwieger catching fire.

Nervous about AJ going off in the 2nd half. Tighten up the damn defense.

Had a chance to pull away a bit. But some missed bunnies by Uguak and Knight hurt. Going to be a "hold onto your butts" finish
