Credit to the guys for finding a way to win. Not a great game, weird to say scoring 71 points but felt like a very lackadaisical game. Chris Knight saved the day and played a great game. As stated above as well, kudos to Tate Hall, he has really stepped up lately. Tom with a great game too, he has played really well lately and love to see him rewarded with minutes, he deserves it. Glad to get the win but hope to see more urgency and efficiency the next few games, it’s going to be a tough stretch.

I liked the pace we were playing on offense for most of the night. Just not a great night shooting from outside.
Defense had way to many lapses. If I was counting how many open or near open looks they had by cutting to the basket…I would’ve lost count halfway through the second half. The last 5 minutes was better, but overall not our best game.
And thank goodness they also forgot how to hang onto the ball in those last 4 minutes or so. We wanted to hand them the game, but they refused to accept the gift.

Valpo has plays close games the entire year so it is not surprising they kept this one close at home

Agree, on the TV review, no where near oob it seemed

Schwieger with another tough game shooting 1-6 from the field (0-4 from deep) in 18 minutes. I'm not sure what he is bringing to the table at this point. Can be OK if his 3 is falling but it's just been so inconsistent.
Tate Hall has kind of caught fire from deep...8-11 in his last five games! Not to mention some decent drives and work downlow...and always tough defense. Great to see him take advantage of getting some good minutes.
Lucas with an uncharacteristic 0-5 night from 3 to go with five turnovers (a few late ones that were ugly). Still found a way to drive to the hoop and finish with 12 points.
Welch was really impressive downlow. Showed some really good moves and persistence sticking with his missed shots for easy follows.
CK obviously with just a fantastic game. He has developed so well this year. Only faults are he has a tendency to pick up some dumb fouls and some games, he just doesn't seem to be getting the rebounds we need him to get (but this is understandable given we are playing him as an undersized 5).
Really excited to see how the team comes out Saturday. I hope we see some Quise minutes, we need his energy on both ends of the court.
We are truly in the home stretch now...4 games in 8 days to end the season.

Boy Drake had a snoozer and only Devrie played more than 15 minutes from the starters.....the bench had way over 50% of the playing time and 37 points.....and it was a home game....Drake will be rested.
