This sucks. Turnovers. Defensive lapses. Should be pressing more with our depth.

At-large chances get even more slim...with games still left @UNI and @MoSt.

Def choked this away. So sloppy this half, no one to blame but ourselves for this outcome.

I hate being the guy that complains about the refs, but they're freaking killing us!

The free throw discrepancy is basically the margin we're losing by. They've shot 18 free throws vs. 8 for us.

With a need for offense, I am struggling to understand why Schweiger is on the bench. Frankly, you don’t need Uguak when down 10 with 3 min to go

You need Uguak for his defense. And considering how Schweiger had been on offense lately, I'd prefer to have Uguak in there for his ability to rebound and get a breakaway steal for a dunk.

Can't win many games when the other team has more than double your amount of FT attempts.

That and the turnovers sealed this game for us.

Props to Drake for playing a solid game and making their free throws. They're hard to beat at home.

That said, our chance for an at large is now virtually gone.

We are going to have to win in STL. There are still at least two losses on this schedule, probably more, that will bust our at-large chances. So frustrating.

This feels like a game we were robbed of. We played well offensively, even with all the turnovers. We out shot Drake by 8%. Rebounds we're just about equal. We outplayed Drake in just about every way.

So why did we lose by 9? Drake shot an insane 28 free throw in this one. A whopping 16 more than us.

Look, there are games where you do everything right, but just don't win. Theres no convincing me that we lost this one though. The refs grabbed this win right out of our hands. They bailed Drake out every time the shot clock was getting low. They got a class every time they went to the rim. They got a call if we went over a screen too well.

This was so of the most lopsided refereeing I've seen a long time. I'd prefer the refs just hold the whistle the game like that slugfest against Souther Illinois than have them decide who's going to win like they did today.

Nothing upsets me more that clearly being the better team and losing because the refs deemed that you would.

It’s really not. That’s another Q2 loss. You’re going to have some of those on the resume. Wind the games were supposed to, win the rest at home, steal one at UNI or at MSU and we’re still in the picture.
