Looks like our first game in the Caymen is against South Florida. Great game for us

Missouri State released most of their Non-conference schedule today. https://missouristatebears.com/document ... hedule.pdf

Quality MTE in the Charleston Classic featuring Buffalo, UConn, Florida, Miami (Fla.), St. Joseph's, Towson and Xavier.

Also very solid slate of road games against Xavier, VCU, and LSU. Hope we get some games with a similar quality of opponents.

If Missouri State can get an away schedule like this can anyone see why LU cannot get a schedule like this? Specifically the away schedule

We beat Florida at Florida and then went to the Final Four.

VCU won't pay us $90,000 to come play a game we can win.

We defeated no one of significance last year correct???? maybe Richmond and we are really unproven this year...I think MSU posses a bigger or similar threat...which is why I asked..... Do you think going into this year we will be a top 100?

I am sometimes wrong, but it seems to me that we should have the ability to schedule stronger opponents at this point.

But they were in the NIT last year so it seems fitting.

I think scheduling is becoming harder if you exclude tournaments. I would never come to LU and play in our gym unless you gave me a big guarantee. That's not in the cards if you believe the AAUP report on the Phoenix. The only path I see is if a marquee player is from our area and wants to play in front of his fans and his coach grants the request.

Last year’s Norfolk State game was also on Bears/Packers Day.
