Fyi, it seems like Nets observers consider him a legitimate dark horse to make the team: http://nothinbutnets.com/2017/07/07/net ... et-know/3/

Doyle did not play in the Net's victory over Atl. Neither did 5 other players on the Net's roster.
Don't understand the coach's logic in not giving these guys the opportunity to show their stuff in a meaningless summer league game. Doesn't bode well for Milt to make the team.

That was one of the worst games I've ever seen. I'm almost glad Milton wasn't a part of it.

Playing devils advocate. Milton is aware of the coach plans. The coach wants each player to get fair amounts of minutes to show their skills. Stay tuned for the next games.

I just hope Milt is ready when he gets his chance. He has to be mentally tough going through this process.

He will be fine. Stay focus on what the competition does well and what coach is looking for. Then go out and do it better. He has the tools and desire. The hard part is staying focused and engaged to be ready at moment's notice to do your thing. If Milt can do that he will be successful. Please let him know the entire Loyola basketball family is rooting for him.

A side note:
Most of my teammates are NBA junkies and we all watch summer league games. lol

I watched that game, and looked over the stats. Wasn't impressed and would agree that Milton can compete here. I can't imagine the stress for him as minutes are all you get to make a statement. How do you balance letting the game come to you with taking every possession personally and hogging the ball? Crazy hard.... I'll be watching. He can do this! Best bet to play like you do,not change it up to just throw up shots because you want to impress. Easy for me to say.....

They did not sign him to the summer league to not give him an opportunity to show what he has. He's going to get his chance, and even better, the people that played in front of him did not exactly blow anyone away, so it's probably better for him that he didn't get into Friday's game. He just needs to prove he deserves to be there when he gets the call to check in.

Doyle playing well, 13 points on 4 of 5 shooting through three quarters.
