Shareef Mitchell ( who we offered before he reclassified to 2019) will be playing prep ball at Sunrise Christian Academy. Same place our incoming point guts Isaiah Bujdoso went to highschool, have to imagine we have a good connection with their staff. I'll be curious to see if we still pursue him for 2019

We offered a PG, Yuri Collins from St. Louis. He's currently playing on Bradley Beal's EYBL team. They are in division A, which is the top talent across the country. Even if his stats in it aren't eye-popping, it's impressive he's on this team.

Two more local offers.

Dajuan Gordon of Curie
Tom Welch of Naperville North

Great to see them going hard locally for 19.

A pretty cool article on Tom Welch: https://www.suntimeshighschoolsports.co ... tom-welch/

Dajuan Gordon has some crazy highlights, that would be a huge pickup.

Not sure who they were recruiting, but Drew Valentine brought his brother from the Bulls Denzel on his last recruiting trip, they both posted a picture on instagram about it. Can't say enough how much that has to help, having a Final Four coach and NBA player at your games has to open up some doors, I love that Denzel is being at least somewhat involved between this and workouts with the team over the summer

It’s super cool and has to help. Also they were in Indianapolis for the EYBL Circuit I believe.

We offered 6’4” G, Tyler Bertram of Cooperstown, NY today. He averaged 8.6 PPG in ~ 12 MPG so far in the Nike EYBL in the B division. He’s been offered by more than a few mid majors including St. Bonaventure, George Mason, and St. Louis.

He’s definitely a sharpshooter and is often hitting at a high percentage and from college, if not professional, distance. He looks like he has the ability to be an incredible shooter.

Update on Dajuan Gordon: according to an article by Scott Burgess back in January, Gordon had already taken an unofficial visit to Loyola (https://www.prephoops.com/2018/01/recru ... rdon-2019/) .Then this past week he took another to Loyola as well (https://twitter.com/scottybscout/status ... 58977?s=21). Gordon seems like the type of prospect who is well on his way to blowing up. I think he can and should be a 3 Star by the end of the spring session in which he’s playing with Team Rose AAU.
