Bell, Tillman: Too bad we didn't honor the 50th anniversary of the 1966 team that went 22-3 (or did I miss it?). It's not altogether too late as many of them were on the 1968 NCAA team, 50 years ago next year.

Milt, thank you for your dedication to LU through some good times and plenty of trying times during your career. I speak for a lot of Rambler fans when we say our only complaints about you are your 4 years here are too short and there aren't 3 or 4 more of you. Congratulations on a great collegiate career both on and off the court, and best of luck in the future. We all will surely be cheering for you.

If you look at the Ramblermania member list, you'll see that our newest member is #PROUDMOM, aka Lisa Green, aka Birdie aka Milton's Mom. She's getting an error message, so she asked me to post this message from her on this thread. So without further ado, here it is!

I figured it's safe to join the Rambler board now. I want to thank you all for your support over the years. I'm so proud of Milton and his maturation as a man. It definitely wasn't easy but he made it through it al! LU was the perfect fit for Milton, he was able to grow and flourish on and off the court.

I have enjoyed reading the posts over the years; very impressed with the high basketball IQ on the board. I'm glad I got a chance to have met some of you, it's been my pleasure. Thanks again... it's been a ride filled with ups and downs, but we overcame and now the sky is the limit. The future is bright for LU and Milton. I'm glad we were a part of the things to come. The arrow is definitely pointing up ;) Go Ramblers! ONWARDLU

Much love to Birdie, one of the best Rambler twitter accounts around!! Hope to keep seeing her at games and following LU Basketball; shes's stuck with the rest of us now. Best of luck to Milton wherever he ends up, on and off the court!

Starting to suspect the hashtag in the user name might be throwing off the posting....

Nice to have met #PROUDMOM once or twice and shared some fun posts on Twitter. Glad she got a chance to see a bunch of road games (I saw her twice here in Normal), and hope she'll stay around and follow and comment on what happens in future seasons.

Though never meeting her in person, I have had many great conversations with her on Twitter. She is a pleasure to talk to and I hope she will keep in touch. What I liked about her was how positive she was and never really got down about anything. She was always a #PROUDMOM.
