Jackson's consistency has been phenomenal. We were very lucky to get him. If we keep it up and keep getting better at playing as a team we are going to have a great team by the end of the year. Things are starting to gel.

This MUST be said --
--OUR team is terrific
--Our Coach superb !!
--Our Cheer Leaders and Dance squad are cute good and BEAUTIFUL
--The Chicago Media is woeful !!
--Student body is absolutely miserable and a disgrace--DISGUSTING--I really feel they do NOT deserve this team

---REFS were NOT good today !!

OK ! We sent the SDS fans home with a loss --a big one !! It shows what VALLEY HOOPS is all about. We have really schooled the west coast teams (2) NICE !!!

I surely missed on the final score --BUT SO WHAT !!

RUN RAMBLERS !!!

While they're should've been more butts in the seats, it got pleasantly loud in the second half

Student section grew over the course of the game. While it may still be small compared to other schools it's hard to argue they don't make noise. They're the ones who get everyone else going, it'd be nice to have other fan's consistently getting loud. BUT WHO CARES AT THE MOMENT.

Great win for the Ramblers. I was very impressed with Vlatko being able to hit some big shots in the first half as well as forcing a few turnovers in the second. He's slowly getting more comfortable and is a nice piece of the bench. Steady, solid, and being able to hit 3's adds an extra dimension. Even Kirby had a few nice defensive plays.

This team is also continuing to prove they can PUT TEAMS AWAY. In the past the 5 point lead would quickly become a 2 point lead. Even when we missed the free throw we got a TO and Ben got the bucket. That's grit.

Nothing more you can say about Jackson. Kids a stud.

Clayton has that edge to make big shots when we need them.

Ben is able to impact the game in a lot of ways; even when his shooting is iffy he's able to impact the game with defense and distribution (5 assists today!)

Milt's 3 at the end + the huge block? Awesome. And we won with him having somewhat of an off shooting night overall.

I find it encouraging that we won a game against a good team when we didn't shoot great from 3 (7/20), and we were outrebounded by a good margin. And I agree with Blers on the student section. It did fill in a little more as the game went on(probably 2/3-3/4 or so filled up at the end. RE the dorm challenge, the way it was described was it's one building per game. It's a good idea, but I'd make it two each game, competing for who can get more to show up and be the loudest.

OOOPS !! One prop I forgot--Our Pep Band was terrific !!

All in all a great day for LUC except for the ones I stated !

As far as SPITE goes--The SDS people were stupid to make the comment they made--Hence they have NO CLUE !! WE are a better team !! We beat them with mostly our defense. We even beat OUR REFS !! Maybe they have yet to catch on--We ARE a VALLEY TEAM HELLO !!!

Wow! Went in with trepidation about this one because of Ingram's absence. WAS I WRONG. I saw the same determination and hard play with intensity that I saw against NC State. These kids are impressive. They stayed the course when it got tight and got the W. It was exciting to see and bodes well going forward. Again, give some props to Coach Moser for getting this team well prepared with strategy and with desire.
I also sat down before the game to see a very tall SDU team. Our double teaming and anticipation was stellar. We broke their press repeatedly without turnover, something that we could not do in the past. So many players made plays today, and our improvement in depth is obvious over earlier teams. We did this w/o Chastain and Donte, both of whom will certainly be back and contribute to continuing progress as we go forward.
As to Coach Moser and his staff, gotta give them credit for recruiting. Jackson seems to be a real quality player with remarkable instincts under the basket. His second half quick reverse layup was super quick and athletic. So glad he came to LU. Nice fit as I see really good team chemistry.
Guess you can tell I am drinking the Kool Aid and it is tasting really good. Nice job Ramblers. Keep up the great work. I really think today's win was a tipping point in this program.
Go Ramblers....
