North Carolina St !!!!! Now that plus the Paradise Jam elevates our schedule once again--AND the rest of it has yet to be published . We are finally starting to get back to where we belong.
Porter and his troops must now win a few of these "biggies" commencing in Puerto Rico !

We landed some top-flight recruits and did lose a couple BUT we competed in the big arena and did just fine.

I really feel that all that is left to do IS get people into Gentile---Lots of them.--- Along this line of thought, it probably is now time to schedule the Mild Kitties, DePewl and Flames, perhaps in a Chgo Tourney same as what they do in Philly. Ideally this would take place at Gentile and then rotate each year. Pollyanna I know , but what the H !!

You forgot the UIC game. If the trip to NC State is happening, I believe that only leaves one more game. Pretty sure it is a roadie at Western IL.

Most schools are opening play on Friday, November 11. The first game we know of is on Sunday the 13th.

Remember, last year we opened at home on a Friday against UTSA, and then played a non-D1 home game the very next night on Saturday. It might be possible that we have a home or road opener on the 11th and then play the non-D1 48 hours later on Sunday the 13th.

Per Streak's report from the open practice, it looks like we open with Alcorn State at home on November 11. Streak also says we're playing NC State in Raleigh after the Paradise Jam, but that's an awkward date because we could possibly be playing them in the Paradise Jam finale. (I notice Ole Miss is facing Montana on Thanksgiving, another Paradise Jam participant, in Oxford just after the Paradise-- maybe another home game is part of the deal getting name teams into the MTEs now?)

Heard new women's coach threw out first pitch at Wrigley for one of the recent night games.

Porter had entire team show up for her intro press conference. Great guy.
At bQ he also had players mingle with alums.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I've never understood the apparent fascination in piecing together in little dribs and drabs our nonconference schedule.
I genuinely would like somebody to explain what I'm missing.
