I was tracking the score on Live Stats and didn't realize at first that we won at 23-21. I thought we had to reach 25!

5th set goes to 15...took us extra time.

I'm not a huge volleyball fan, but I am a fan of Loyola in this is awesome! I think this one means even more because they were able to do it on the road, so home court advantage cannot be used against them by detractors. We have become quite the powerhouse now. There would be no reason to lose our head coach to anyone, correct? Are competing in NCAA final fours every year something we should become accustomed to ?

Judging by the comments on the volleyball message board it must have been a hell of a match!

I hope I can see a replay of it on YouTube or somewhere else online.

It was a fantastic match! You definitely will want to see a replay. Both teams gave it everything they had. I cannot tell you how many times I shouted we're going to win, followed a minute later by we're going to lose.

Finished watching the replay.

What a great 5th set! Both teams fought off multiple championship points. Even though I knew what the outcome was going to be I was still on the edge of my seat.

Congrats to the Ramblers, and to Lewis for being such a worthy opponent.

I thought it was the best volleyball game I had ever witnessed. Lewis looked invincible in that first set just as they had two Fridays ago in Romeoville.
Then in the second set, Shane and his staff managed to stem the tide with some adjustments and that seemed in both instances to unhinge Lewis for a short time.
Last week I looked at the Lewis roster and their two stars are both seniors and so this was, I believe, Lewis' best shot at a title.
The Ramblers on the other hand are young, tall and have a deep roster.
Looking forward to next year.
