I really doubt we get him, but if we pulled off Markese Jacobs that would be huge. I can't remember exactly where but right after the Kansas decommitment a few days ago I saw somewhere that said he was leaning UofI. I bet offers start to come in for him fast, he's been committed for almost 2 years now at Kansas

I’d say it’s a long shot for sure. If memory serves we were one on his first offers a few years ago.

Also looks like Andre Gordon, top 5 Ohio player for 2019, will be taking an official visit next month

Markese Jacobs would be huge as was said but there are so many recruits I would be happy with. This is going to be a great recruiting class.

Jacobs would be an insane addition; but I’m not sure we’re even on him? None of the coaches follow him on twitter and I don’t see a connection anywhere except on 247. My guess is him and Shannon go to Florida state as a packaged deal.

Christian Bruan nabs an offer from Kansas. Will be a very tough get now despite the numerous connections.

If only there was someone who went to Kansas and then left only to end up at Loyola who could talk to Markese...

Hopefully I’m wrong, but he’s already set official visits to K-State and Oklahoma even before the Kansas offer. Have to imagine with us being in on him so early, if we were still in the running an official would’ve been getting set already

I’d agree we’re almost definitely out on Braun. He’s really blown up; as for Jacobs our coaches don’t even follow him on Twitter so I think the 247 warm rating holds little weight.

If I had to guess we’re solely focused on Kennedy, Gordon, and probably Bertram for the time being... still a great group.

Only about an hour until Tyler Bertram announces his commitment. He just visited Charlotte this past weekend and visited St.Joe's the weekend before
