I always wondered about twins on the same team (like the Smith twins 15 years ago), because they kind of compete against each other for playing time....

That worked better 15 years ago when most teams played with two bigs. I shared the concern though. It's definitely tough to have twin big men play together these days.

Wes Rubin says Loyola is still on his list....also looking at Depaul, UNI, SIU, Western Michigan and Northern Ill.
Glenbard West star Bobby Durkin headed to A-10 for Davidson.

Loyola offered him around the same time George Mason did, and he took an unofficial visit to Loyola.

Didn't remember that connection, but saw him briefly in one of the state playoff games that was on TV. Thought he looked like a nice player.

With three open spots and a need for big, physical guards, gotta think we reach out and gauge his interest. He might also follow English to Providence.

I heard from a reliable source that Barron might have attitude issues.

your source is wrong. Great kid and definitely a physical guard. He looks like a football player.
I think Providence is a little above his skill level at the moment but he could develop into a big east player down the line

Until everyone hit the transfer portal we had 11 scholarship players , 1 was filled with Miles Rubin, I am thinking they were reserving the other for a transfer. We have 6 offers out for 24, 4 of them for a PG.
The kid from Metemora, across the river from Peoria and up Germantown Hill, was 2nd last year in IHSA class3 and this year won it all defeating Simeon with Miles Rubin and brother on the team.
Here is the 2nd half and overtime of the state final. Icluding Kizer and Rubin
