Re: Recruiting Class of 2019
I think we have more connection with Kennedy than we do with Braun since two of his AAU teammates are already a part of the 2019 class.
Re: Recruiting Class of 2019
Kaifes was AAU teammates with Braun; he's retweeted like all his offers so there's likely still a fairly strong connection. We also have the high school and AAU coach angle on Braun. Ed Fritz head coach of Blue Valley Northwest came to every game in the tournament run and has spoke well of the staff when he he was receiving Chicago radio interviews. That said looking at it he's received a lot of high major interest so it's ultimately up to what level he wants to play at. He has a LOT of high major offers at this point. His brother Parker is a freshman at Mizzou where he also has an offer... I'm pretty curious to see where he ends up because at this point I have no clue. Clay was a top 100 and didn't love the fit at Iowa State so you never really know.
My guess is of the remaining players we have offers to we're the most locked in on: Kennedy, Bertram, and maybe Andre Gordon for now. We'll def know more when they all (Braun and Dajuan Gordon included) start setting visits. Who knows though, stuff like this changes so rapidly as kids figure out what they're looking for.
Dajuan Gordon's is who I'm really hopeful for. Public league player outta Curie, recently cracked the Rivals top 150. May not be realistic, but we've clearly got a great track record with Public League kids having success.

I think Dajuan Gordon is the best recruit we have an offer on. He has had some high major offers so I don't know if we are still in for him but I hope so.
Re: Recruiting Class of 2019
I am guessing Kennedy. With so!e of the talent we already have, I am not sure Braun will see himself as a fit.
I would not be surprised if we go with a juco wing to help with the loss of Townes.

I wonder if swella has any thoughts on what being the top HS basketball player in Vermont is like.

A state where the Democratic Primary for Governor was won by a transgender, who beat out a 14 year old, is a model for us all!
I'm still working on how this relates to basketball, but it will be snarktastic when it comes to me.

Per the Suntimes, likely not in running for Gordon.
