Offered the other Rubin brother.

What was the point of waiting a few weeks to offer the second Rubin twin? All the other schools, I believe, offered both at the same time.
I can easily see Wes construing the timing as a slight and insult.

Iowa certainly seems to check all the items on Brock Harding's recruiting list: Close to home so his family and friends can go to his games; a P5 team in the Big Ten (his brother plays baseball for Illinois); his AAU and now high school teammate Owen Freeman has already committed to play for the Hawkeyes.

It would be a Brock Shock for him to go elsewhere. Disappointing, because I love his style of play and would have enjoyed watching him in a Rambler uniform. My dream '23 Recruiting Class (assuming one current Rambler transfer out) was Harding, Ty Pence and Conrad Luczynski.
