On the topic of the Westin, I really preferred the old restaurant of years past than the new one they put in this year.

Very disappointing loss, but one that was foreseeable. We were bad at the line all year. It was only a matter of time before it ended our season. It is a mistake to place this loss on any one player. It was a total team loss. It was not one person missing a lay-up or a free throw. It was the entire team. It is not fair to place the loss on a player. It is coach's job to put the team in position to win and they were, but the players need to execute. Let's hope we grow from this.

Easiest championship run in history. They beat a 5, 7, and 8 seed. The latter two they had an extra day on, and SIU's best players were freshman. I was kinda shocked the games were as close as they were. I really think the intangibles they had on last years squad were way better than this years with DLo and Lundy.

I know we are supposed to root for the Valley, but I can't do it. Anyone else, sure. Just not Bradley. I very much dislike them and their shithead coach

I hate the Birds more. But Bradley is definitely close. Will still pull for them to win though but will hold my nose doing it.

Guys,
Yes,the main reason we lost was poor free throw shooting.
However another factor( for the 2nd time in a couple of weeks) was not using a foul we had to give in both regulation and overtime. The other time we had a foul to give and didn’t do it was our home game against Northern Iowa.Green comes down and hits a tying 3 at the end of regulation.
In our game against Valpo the other night,we had a foul to give- in regulation,it allows them to hit a tying 3 with a few seconds left to go.In overtime, had the foul to give, didn’t use it as they drove the length of the floor for the winning dish and layup.
In both of those games that I watched on TV,the announcers even stated that they couldn’t understand why the Ramblers weren’t fouling.Players or coaches fault or both?Very frustrating.
