One last thought on our POLICE DEPARTMENT. It was called campus security in my day and they certainly weren't armed. Do you really want campus police using guns. I guess there are some circumstances but it doesn't make me feel safe when I see them armed. It makes me think what will happen when they use deadly force and some student pays the price for it.

here are the answers I'm pretty confident in.
4. this is pretty one sided. Kelly is in charge. His MO is pretty consistent. When something good happens its his idea and direction. When things go south its someone else's fault even when they act directly on his orders. He has no problem throwing someone under the bus to further himself. You wonder how can he get away with this consistently. Very simple, Loyola is the land of constant meetings and direct reports. He's able to shield himself because Father relies on his direct report and doesn't care to dig deeper. There just isn't enough time in the day for him to do two jobs and he has a misplaced judgement with Kelly. Just wait when he isn't able to make a dent in revenue. It won't be his fault, It will be Watson's and Development's. This is a power grab pure and simple.
5. if you follow Swoopes on twitter you can see how she spends her time. She is always trying to promote her brand. The profile picture is of her in a USA uniform. There are constant tweets quoting of inspiration. How about inspiring your team. Do you think Doug Bruno is tweeting inspiring quotes when he hasn't won in two months. When you are considered the best player ever very rarely do other responsibilities come over your wants. Her contract (written by Kelly) contains no provisions of attending events or work schedules. I don't know of many coaches who are not bound by those provisions. There will be a big red check mark next to Malisch's name when Watson has to fire Swoopes and eat the extension Kelly gave her. Kelly will say he acted on her advice. Maybe Malisch will wake up and realize she isn't on Kelly's team because only Kelly is on Kelly's team.
The sad thing here is that the student athletes are getting screwed because the adults put themselves first.

It's official. We've hit rock bottom. LU lost to Bradley 46-45 today. The win gives BU their second on the season. The loss means LU is going on 2 months and counting without a win.

I'll say this much...LU took a HUGE risk on bringing in Swoopes. Bravo for taking risks. However, she hasn't worked out and isn't working out.

86 has touched on it. Swoopes is often MIA when she should be working with the team or working on game plan. She has no restrictions in her contract so she can travel around the country selling her brand. That, alone, is cause for concern.
