Pretty crappy start. Thankfully it's against a horrible Drake team, so we're actually still winning.

Yes, the crowd is pitiful and we are being a bit sloppy with the ball. On the bright side, the student section is about 70% full. This is the largest crowd I've seen this year for any home game against an opponent not named Wichita state. I think students enjoyed the atmosphere against wsu and came back. We better get our shit together and win this one!

This is why we need a point guard next year. And I'm totally fine with a JUCO kid who has at least some college experience.

Also, this crowd is exhibit A as to why we need to reach out to the community to try to bring in fans. Even big time schools in major cities like UCLA reach out to people other than student and alumni for support.

65% of 4486, the agreed upon capacity for Gentile, is still less than 3,000 people. That's a horrendous crowd for a competitive D1 team.

The student section is decently filled. But the rest of the gym looks like the crowd we should bring in during the middle of a snowstorm.
