I can only imagine how thin the sports information department is stretched right now. Last weekend alone, there were track and field events in Florida, California, and Indiana; three softball games in two days in Peoria followed by a "home" game against DePaul on Monday (with the location moved at the last minute); men's and women's golf at the Bradley Invitational in Peoria; the #1 men's volleyball team playing on senior day; the announcement of two players transfering out of men's basketball; and preparations for hosting the MIVA conference tournament and NCAA men's volleyball tournament. Plus there's probably considerable activity getting ready for fall sports, summer events, etc. Not to mention a national search for an Athletic Director.

This thread needs to be updated every few minutes it seems.

Is there some software that could provide automatic updates linked to Twitter?

Ramblermania's resident tech geniuses GoRamblers and ahunte1 would know...

Also of some note I guess:

We were also after the Svete kid out of high school, but I doubt we're after him now. I mean after 2 ACL surgeries, I hope we're not after him now. http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/ ... te_pa.html

Don't know where this belongs, but SLU signed Malik Yarbrough out of Zion, IL. This now means that they do not have a scholarship open for Nolan Berry. Although Berry has to sit out all of next season, it is nice that our biggest competition is now out of the race for him for now.

Also, someone needs to start @NotPorterMoser asap

For those waiting on Nolan Berry, it might take a while. His decision will come after he visits all four schools next month.

Jermaine Morgan has never played as well as he has been rated. He averaged less than three points a game in nine games during his senior year at Whitney Young. From there he ended up at Odessa JC where he averaged four points in seven games his freshman year. This past season he averaged eight points a game at Moberly JC. These are not impressive numbers.

Transfer Joke:

Q. Why did Sister Jean transfer from the BVMs to a cloistered order of nuns?

A. She was looking for more praying time.
