One thing that jumped out from reading the UNI board is their comments on Pickford. It's like reading people on here talking about Aher. Seems like they have the exaxt same roles. Pickford is supposed to be their defensive stopper, but he's replacing Brown, who could also contribute on offense.

Watching UNI vs Utah State now. They just...aren't that impressive. I know they have talent and great coaching so they will work things out and be a tough team come Valley play. But right now, they look SLOW and pretty weak defensively.

Liberty transferred to Depaul. For real this time.

Was also granted a waiver so he is eligible to play this year. Might be seeing him again in a few weeks if we get something on the books with DePaul.

Everyone seems to be getting waivers this year. Used to be extremely difficult. I wonder if we tried for Damezi.

He was granted a medical waiver because of a split personality disorder and needed to be closer to home. The first part of the season he will play for DePaul as Javon Liberty. In conference play he will play as Javon Freeman.

Wow. UIC put it to Valpo 66-50. They are 3-0. They play Ball State next, who is picked to win the MAC. that’s a good game to watch before they (potentially) play us. UIC might be a tough first game for us, as they may be much improved with the coaching change.

Valpo lost a lot of great players this year, and it shows. I think we are a better team than UIC, and let's hope we can pull out a W. I think we should be able to given our depth.

Valpo was expected to be just below average in the MVC, and UIC was figured to be 4th or 5th in the HL.... So not a totally surprising result (Valpo was favored by 1), but with UNI starting 0-3, and Evansville losing to Prairie View A&M, the MVC needs to start racking up some wins.
