We have to learn to play like this on the road. Confidence is part of it, but how can there be such a difference between games like this and Evanville/Missouri State?

Valpo up early 14-0 on Illinois State.

Up 20 Moser starts experimenting, some bench in running a zone. Drake goes on a run, our starters come back in and stomp the run. Love that

Valpo up 14 @ISU late 1st half. Could regain sole control of 1st. Go Crusaders!

The only thing I like better than beating Drake is smacking them down.

Outstanding game by Townes. When he’s on from outside, it’s huge.

Also an amazing second half by Krutwig, after leaving a pile of blood on the floor early. He showed flashes of a decent midrange shot/touch early in his Freshman year, but hasn’t used it much since. It’s been noticeable that he’s been extending himself out more the last handful of games, including a nice 15 footer tonight.

And Custer, as maligned as he’s been, had a good all around game, with a quiet 14.

Uguak had great defence, some stellar hustle plays, and a balanced stat sheet of 6pts (50% shooting), 8 rebs and 4 assists.

Cooper might be better than Turk.

It is bizarre. Shows you why Porter always says you can't get too high or too low. Great win tonight though!

Inevitably they have a great game when I'm busy and can't watch the whole thing and then when I have time to settle down in my recliner with a nice beer to watch the whole game I have to turn it off with 10 minutes left because of how atrocious it is.

I've been really pleased with Aher's play in conference play. He's an excellent perimeter defender and a great rebounder. I hope he can become the offensive weapon he was sold as but his athleticism adds a lot of the bite to this defense.
