Everyone heading to Milwaukee must have a "birthday brat for Brot!!"
Re: UW Milwaukee Preview and Game Thread -- 12-16-2017
As long as this thread is getting a lot of comments and replies, here are some other interesting items that I came across while putting the preview together that didn't quite fit.
-- Porter Moser is seeking his 100th win as Loyola head coach on Saturday, against 106 losses. A win on Saturday would give him 205 in his career.
-- Eight of the current teams in the Horizon League were not in Division 1 when the conference started as the Midwestern City Conference in 1979-80.
Detroit Since 1906
Cleveland St. 1972-73
UIC 1981-82
Green Bay 1981-82
Youngstown State 1981-82
Wright State 1987-88
Milwaukee 1990-91
IUPUI 1998-99
Oakland 1999-2000
Northern Ky. 2012-13
-- Over the past three games, Loyola is shooting 61.5% on threes (24 of 39).
-- Loyola is 3rd nationally in field goal percentage at 53.4, behind only Virginia Tech and Xavier. On three-pointers, Loyola ranks 5th in the nation at 44.6%.
-- Though it might seem otherwise, Loyola is 7th in the nation in fewest fouls made per game. The Ramblers are making only 14.5 fouls per game, and Loyola is one of only 13 teams that haven’t had a player foul out of a game.

Fox Sports Wisconsin showing their great research skills, highlighting Jackson while picturing Donte Ingram

Little sleepy at the start.

First thought arriving at the arena, Negron is on crutches again, Shanks is out. Not much depth today.
Good news, Ben doesn't have a cast or brace on his hand

They aren't looking too bad so far. Could be better could be worse.
Just realized this would be Moser's 100th victory after the announcers said it. That would put him at 100-106 all-time at Loyola. Hopefully this is the year Porter cements an overall winning record at Loyola and never loses it for the rest of his tenure. the 7-23 season in year one in the Horizon certainly wasn't his fault though.
