While I'm not sure he makes the team, this is a good thing for your program. Being able to say you had kids get NBA looks is great to sell on the trail.

That's great to hear. I told Mr. Doyle, when I met him at the Seniors Dinner that I always thought he was a special player and a quality person.
Hopefully hard work and just a little luck (for a change), and good things follow. His innate abilities on the court should pay off for him. He sees the floor way deeper than any players I've seen over the years.
Couldn't be happier for him and his family. Graduating and staying the course at LU should carry him thru any challenges he will face going forward.
Good luck Milton, this news made my day. I'll be watching. Please keep us mere mortal fans posted on where to look.

Just a heads up that Milton's game, along with his teammates ( sounds like I'm taking it personally), will be on this Friday afternoon.
Not sure of exact time. I am really excited to see this and wish Milt and his family the best. I know he will give it his all.

You are correct. Here's the Nets full schedule:

Friday July 7, 7pm ESPN3
Sunday July 9, 5pm ESPN3
Monday July 10, 5pm ESPNU

All times are central time. And I believe if they win enough games there is a playoff.

I dont understand a whole lot about how the summer league works but I was digging around to see if I could learn some stuff about the game tonight. It seems that Brooklyn had the worst record in the league last year and are predicted to be the worst this year. As a result a lot of their players from last years team are on the summer league roster. It appears 6 or 7 of guys that had significant playing time last year are going to get serious summer league time. I hope this does not take away opportunities from Milt. I really want to wear a Milton Doyle NBA jersey.

Yes, they will take away time. Summer League for most teams has a ton of throw away time and doesn't really let you see what someone can do against big time competition. Nets are trying something different that should work to Milt's advantage. His court time would be greater under a different structure but with the Nets he will be playing for the head coach and with guys who will see big minutes during the regular season. I view that as a huge plus for him. If he can make the most of his opportunities, he will move up the depth chart quicker than just running up and down with a bunch of guy that might not make a G-league roster. His complete abilities will be on display and he has to be ready but the Nets are the best situation for him to be in. He will do great. Tough Chicago kids always seem to rise to the occasion.
