I ahve also heard of this mystery man from Montenegro. Supposedly he was discovered shortly after birth under the peaks of Mount Dormitor laying is maroon and gold sheepskins. He was being watched over by an eagle. This has two meanings: he can soar like an eagle and was meant to combine with Cameron Krutwig, who plays for the Jacobs Golden Eagles, to form the dynamic duo for the Ramblers.

Based on the limited information I've found I don't think he displaces any starters, but he would us to potentially run a pretty long lineup if we so choose for the next few years as his natural position is listed as SG/SF.

For example next year we could run:

Marques Townes-6'4
Chastain- 6'6
Cvorovic-6'7
Vltako Granic-6'8
Cam Krutwig-6'9

Granted there's still no one over 6'10 but it still would be a much longer line up than we've had in the past.

A close friend sat next to Igor Cvorovic on his way back from Europe last week. He described Igor as extremely friendly with good English skills. Igor told my friend he chose Loyola over the other offers because of Loyola's academics and Coach Moser.

Paperwork Brot. The Athletic Department is waiting for high school level transcripts and whatever documentation the NCAA requires to confer elegability. Hopefully the situation will be resolved yet this week.

interesting if Igor C is our guy...... In June it sure seemed like he was with UWK http://www.wbko.com/content/sports/Mont ... ogram.html...... But also during the summer it looked like there were 16 players on the WKU roster. http://www.wbko.com/content/sports/Keep ... 88821.html I have seen this frequently in college football, Harbaugh when at Standford , currently at Alabama where they just keep signing then find a way to bump the ones they dont want.
That being said IC looks very skilled but skinny. He can really shoot it and naturally seems to get to the right spot and have good instincts. The language in the music video accompanying the bball video is not PG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn_GlI8e_HE

Supposedly UWK did not want to wait on the paperwork and so gave the scholarship to someone else.
I just hope this does not turn out like the Omar Bukashan situation from Turkey over a decade ago where it all fell apart at the end.
It would be nice to have another taller player.
With or without Igor, I think we will surprise a lot of people this year and be in at least the top four in the conference.
But that is why we play the games.

Try over three decades ago. (Time flies when you get to be our age.)

I remember watching Omer scrimmage, along with Kenny Miller and Tim Bankston. He was a real talent, 6'9" and very skilled. That would have been a GREAT team if they had remained eligible.
