Division I's worst-written athletic site! Drum roll..... Incarnate Word!
The lead paragraph on IW winning their first-ever home DI game:
Quote:
The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team won a highly entertaining game on Thursday night against visiting Southland Conference rival Central Arkansas, 87-72 at the McDermott Center. The win was the first ever for the Cardinals against an NCAA Division I program at home.
Really? It's more important or informative that the game was "highly entertaining" than the fact that it was the first home win in D-1?
From the coach's bio:
Quote:
Burmeister revels in coaching basketball and that is something he had not been able to do for a while. However, he never quit talking the game, he never lost his myriad of hoops contacts, and he not once ceased attending games, seminars and clincs. This is his passion.
Awkwaaaarrrrrdddd.....

SMH. The old "two," "to," "too" homophone always rattles the pros. Just wait until s/he has to navigate your/you're, its/it's, there/their/they're and site/cite/sight.
Dying/dyeing here.....
