AP Poll just dropped.

Not only is Loyola not a top-25 team. They didn't even get a single vote. The disrespect is real.

Not shocking. We lost our star player and our HC.

Pretty surprising we got zero votes when looking at some of the other squads that got votes. Would rather be ranked higher in KenPom and Haslametrics (which we are) as those are based on actual numbers and not just the whims of journalists. Still annoying though.

Drake is going to be a handful this year. Think the best way to beat them is to tire Brodie out or get him in foul trouble...and then attack the post. They don't have much depth down low. They are also not as deep as us so injuries/fatigue could play a role down the stretch.

I feel like we should’ve had at least one. Perhaps the guy who will be in his fifth year, was the best defender in the league last year, shut down an All American in the tournament, and is being mentioned as one of the best defenders nationally this year?

Never really a bad thing to head into a season with a chip or two on the shoulders.
