The Ramblers were #22 in the Week 13 poll released on Feb. 15. Loyola had only one game in the past week, a 54-52 win over Valpo.

Here's how other teams ahead and behind have fared in the past week:

13 West Virginia: 1-0, a win over #12 Texas
14 Creighton: 0-0, no games this week
15 Texas Tech: 0-1, lost at #23 Kansas
16 Florida State: 2-0, beat #7 Virginia and Pitt
17 USC: 1-1, beat Ariz. St., lost to Ariz
18 Va. Tech: 0-0, no games since Feb. 6
19 Tennessee: 1-1, Beat South Carolina, Lost to Kentucky
20 Missou: 1-1, Lost to Georgia, Beat South Carolina
21 Wisconsin: 1-1, Lost to #11 Iowa, Beat Northwestern
22 Loyola: 1-0, Beat Valpo
23 Kansas: 2-0, Beat Kansas State and #15 Texas Tech
24 Arkansas: 1-0, Beat Florida
25 San Diego St.: 2-0, Beat Fresno State twice

NR Oklahoma State: 1-0, Beat Iowa State
NR Rutgers: 0-2, Lost to #3 Michigan and Maryland
NR Belmont: 2-0, Beat Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech
NR Louisville: 0-1, Lost to North Carolina

P.S. Of all the teams listed, Loyola has the highest ranking in KenPom (10) and NET (11). Florida State is the closest to Loyola, just one or two notches behind. Missouri has a KenPom of 44 and a NET of 37; Virginia Tech ranks 36 in KenPom and NET. Belmont has a 77 KenPom and 63 NET.

The poll is usually released between 11-Noon on Mondays.

Kansas will jump us for sure. I think we will stay at 22 or go down to 23.

This guy almost never has a mid major in his top 25, so this is a good sign

Good news is that in CBS Coaches poll updated today we are still #23.

Andy Katz has us at #24.

These are good signs. I would think we will still be in AP top 25 this week.

We received around 120 more points this week than last week, which is good. If we have a good weekend against SIU, could we finish the regular season in the top 20?

Drake actually got fewer votes this week than last week, which is disappointing. They looked really good yesterday.

I watched the Drake game and they are look scary good when they are hitting from 3. When you have a guy that goes 12-14 from the field, you are tough to beat.

Im very interested to hear the results of the Roman Penn injury. That might be the nail In the coffin for Drake if he’s out.

The Arch Madness performance pushed us back into the top 10 in both KenPom and NET. You gotta think we’ll be top 20 today in the polls. If we’re not a single digit seed, it’s not just mid majors that will be pissed, but also whatever big conference school we get paired with. I wouldn’t be happy as a 1 seed either if I look up next Sunday night and see us as the 8/9 seed in my bracket. Everything, from computers to eyeballs say we should be a 5 or 6 at worst. It will be interesting.
