Over on MVCfans.com, there's discussion of the MVC individual honors at the end of the season. I think they'll come out on Tuesday, March 2 (that's the usual timing....). There's pretty solid agreement on the first team: Krutwig (POTY) Prim Mosley Key Penn There's a lot more talk and disagreement about the 2nd team. Most people have Williamson as DPOTY, but a few list Aher Uguak... weird that others around the league seem to appreciate him more than a lot of our own fans... As for me, there are assignments that Aher is better to tackle that few others in the league can do. But Williamson's quick, intuitive, more flexible on-ball defense is probably the best in the league overall IMO. Obviously, Drake's Darian DeVries is going to pick up his second Coach of the Year award in the past three years. Freshman of the Year was Bowen Born's award mid-season, but for me it's a toss-up right now between Born and SIU's Kyler Filewich. Valpo's Sheldon Edwards and Bradley's Reink Mast have come on late in the season to narrow the gap. Newcomer? Drake's ShanQuan Hemphill already has the award at his house. |

Do they do a Most Improved? I can't seem to recall. That would have to be Uguak, right? |

His numbers across the board are better than AJ Greens last year, tho i hope he gets recognized on the most improved team + defensive! |

Last year they had a Most Improved Team and named a captain. Not a real big year for freshman this season. |

There are a lot of players that were moved from a 6th man role to a starter this year because of all the injuries, etc. Yesufu, Heise, Sturtz, Edwards, etc. |
