Worth noting that one of the two who didn’t rank us, from Indianapolis, apparently pays so little attention to his ballot that he didn’t know the difference between San Diego State and San Diego. Or, maybe he did, and is just a huge fan of the 3-11 Toreros

Up one spot to #17 in the last week before the big dance

More salt in the wound! Everybody in college hoops respects Loyola but the NCAA and their paid mouth pieces that are apologists. We went UP a slot in the AP to 17th, but somehow an 8 seed. NCAA is clown show!

This really freaking pisses me off. I know I need to move along and the seeding is what it is, but honestly - the bias of the committee and agenda towards ratings and dramatic match ups just kills me. Now we just need to bring it this weekend. Fuel that frustration and anger into something positive.

It's not just the 8th seed, as all 8s are not created equally. 8-9 is always rough because you know the #1 is on the horizon. However, we have to play the ACC Champ in the first round. This was a setup!

Typical elites in their bubble keeping the status quo and rewarding their friends. But they are hearing a bit of a sound in the night. And there is just a tad of fear.
Did you notice at the end of the "selection show" how it was mentioned that so many conferences in the mid major got two bids.
Just like the Czar throwing out stale bread.
When the rumble gets loud enough they will respond albeit too slowly. They will eventually either open up the field to 128 or restrict the number of bids per conference (unlikely). They will demand more tv money first. They will be forced to reform or their cartel will be challenged by public pressure.
