According to Sun Times' Joe Henricksen, Jackson Munro, a 6'8" center from New Trier who has seen his recruiting stock rise recently, took an unofficial visit to Rogers Park 2 weeks ago and is still on our radar. The same article discusses Robbie Avila's recruitment and mentions Northern Iowa, Indiana State and SIU...but not Loyola. It looks like Robbie Avila unfollowed all the Loyola coaches on Twitter. It seems he's not coming here. Too bad, I think he would have been fun to watch and a fan favorite, if not a star. |

I don’t know what happened with Robbie Avila, but I’m betting it was US that went cold on him, rather than the other way around. If he’s looking at Indiana State, I’m guessing we didn’t think we would find an immediate place in our lineup for him. If he’s looking to win, I don’t know why you would be taking visits to Indiana State. |

Indiana State would probably be the second closest DI school to him, after Eastern Illinois. |
