Pretty awesome to see us consistently making lists with Power 6 conference members. First Essegian, then the Quinn commitment, and now this. Awesome to see and can’t help but think it will continue as long as we keep up the recent success, especially with Coach Valentine now at the helm.

Exactly what I was thinking. We land this kid (probably the highest rated of the group) ....and then all we need is a post player like Avila. What a class that would be!

Did not end up in final group for Nj Benson. Looking like a 60% chance we could end up seeing him in conference play down the road.

I gotta think him being from Mt Vernon gives SIU a little edge here. It’s just up the road, and I believe is also where former Saluki Kent Williams went to high school. I think he graduated just before Mullins got there.
