Just out of curiosity... what is the estimated value of an oversees contract in Belgium?

In the wake of the new NCAA rules change -- and players being able to make money off of their name, image, likeness.... and the recognition Krut got in the Sweet 16 (and final 4 run), is it possible it would have been more lucrative for him to stay one more year... get some some endorsements, do cameos, etc., and make more money than oversees and boost his profile?

Also -- now that he SIGNED -- is he officially ineligible to come back???

Great interview from Bruce Miles with Krut, touching a lot on his future and decision to go pro. Love this guy, we were so lucky to have him for four years.

This is great. Loved the stuff about Drew carrying on the same culture but also injecting new enthusiasm and philosophies. Also cool to see that Cam still gets to Rogers Park and plays with the team. Must be great for Hutson's development.

I can't wait to see Cam's number hanging in the rafters. A true Rambler who helped bring this program back, who stayed loyal (despite that he had plenty of opportunities to jump to bigger programs) and who did things the right way. Will be weird watching Loyola without him on the court, but I am glad he is at peace with his decision. Super excited to watch him develop in Europe.

Just announced--Will Alcock and Krut will be doing a podcast called "Bears, Blers, Belgium", where they'll discuss "Krut's experience and the pro-level and his travels in Europe," "insight to Rambler fans whilst keeping Krut informed about Loyola basketball" and "clashing Midwestern sports takes." Two great personalities--should be a fun podcast.

Antwerp Giants had their first regular season game today. Krut was tied for the team lead with 12 points. Nice debut! Looking forward to following him.

If you aren't already listening to this podcast, you definitely should be! Has some good tidbits about the current Blers from Will and some fun stuff about Krut's experience at Loyola. Also great insight on Krut's pro career and, of course, good humor from both Will and Krut. Custer was in episode 2 and there were some good F4 memories shared.
