Re: Fairleigh Dickinson Preview and Game Thread -- 11/07/202
I agree with most of what has been said. 3 pt shooting is obviously a concern, but I think they are going to keep shooting them. I kept an eye on Valentine after some of the bad misses/turnovers and he was very encouraging. In some of the France/exhibition game, I thought he had a little more Porter ...

Re: tough task
Yeah it is pretty exciting to think about, as there are so many different lineup combos and possibilities for this team. I think the team playing 3 games in France in a few weeks on their trip to Europe is going to be huge this year. Just to be able to try out different lineups, see how people play ...

Re: Recruiting Class of 2023
That is very interesting. Ty Pence is probably the guy I would have liked to have the most, but overall I agree with this strategy. Valentine has shown a fantastic ability to recruit the portal. I think the team this year may be the most athletic team we've ever had, so we'll see how all the portal ...

Re: Recruiting Class of 2023
Great job by the staff securing these commitments. I think both will be excellent players for the Ramblers and they show the Chicago pipeline is still alive--first CPS commitments since Lucas, right?
Miles has legit pro potential with his size and athleticism. I think he will be a day one starter ...

Re: Recruiting Class of 2023
One thing that may just be a sample size coincidence is Drew seems to be using high school/AAU relationships between players to bring in (or trying to bring in) guys who know each other. Jalen Quinn and Ty Pence are good friends. Brock Harding and Ty Pence played together. Obviously the Rubin twins ...

Re: Recruiting Class of 2023
I don't know that much about the Rubin twins but it seems like these were two huge gets! I expected we might hit the transfer portal for a big to replace Golden who could step in and start right away, so I wonder if these commits change that. I expect they won't be able to step in and play 30 min a ...

Re: Ramblers growing
I think my biggest question mark for the team, similar to last year is who takes the ball when the offense breaks down. Besides Kennedy, I don't think we have a super obvious candidate for another guy who can iso and create a good shot on his own when the shot clock is running down. Hopefully we ...

Re: Ramblers growing
It is fun to try to read the tea leaves from the instagram posts on the Loyola basketball official instagram, but I'm curious what everyone thinks the lineups will look like come preseason. Obviously it's impossible to read into one second practice clips on instagram, but it's all we have in the ...
