Re: Santa Clara Preview and Game Thread -- 12/20/2025
I'll celebrate this one. Santa Clara is an A-10-level opponent. Let's hope there are a few more of these to come.

Re: Mercyhurst Preview and Game Thread -- 11/6/2025
I generally try to find the silver lining, but wow. Not sure you can say much about a team that barely can average a point a minute over the first thirty minutes against a team in the 80th percentile. Maybe this team isn't any good? Or is there a turnaround in the cards. We've played two low-rated ...

Re: Cleveland State Preview and Game Thread -- 11/3/2025
This was a poor game offensively for both Kymany and J. Moore forced the ball and didn't really get a lot off the flow of the game. Hopefully he lets the game come to him because you can see his quality. I was under one of the baskets and there were more than one times when he drove and drew either ...

Re: Portal Transfer 2025
If this turns out to be accurate, then always good to have a 40% 3-pt shooter on the roster and have two years of him. The team badly needs to replace Sheldon Edwards' output.

Re: Coaching Carousel 2025
There are reports that Drake's coach, McColough, is going to Iowa.
Anyone think X would make a run at Porter? He'd be a good fit there.

amazing game. 14 lead changes, 8 ties. It came down to less than one second on the clock.

Re: NIT
So much for playing geographically. At least it's a game where we should have a chance since it looks like they have a losing record. Let's get a W.

Re: ARCH MADNESS
Today was Drake’s third straight MVC Championship and 5th straight champ game appearance. Beyond impressive what they’re doing there. They own the league now. This McCollum team is so much more better than those DeVries teams.
They’re gonna win some games this month.

Re: ARCH MADNESS
It’s kinda funny looking back over the years and some Bradley fans I’ve heard say that they’re positioned to “take over the Valley”…they thought it’d be them after they had that Sweet 16 run in 2006. But the years that followed were void of NCAA bids while SIU, Creighton, Witchita State, and others ...

Re: ARCH MADNESS
Definitely miss Arch Madness. It's one of the better conference tournaments. The big conference tournaments are meaningless because they put multiple teams in the tourney. The mid-major conferences live and die for the tournament title and Arch Madness is very well organized by the MVC.
