We came close but then lost by 14.
Dotson and Taverez 4 for 9 on threes so we didn't wash out there.
We actually showed some spark and got within 4 pts but that was as close as we got in the 2nd half.
IF we can play like we did in that little bit of resurgence we'll see some better basketball.
The ...

Re: Where do we go from here?
I can not agree that his performance is close to horrible. Obviously, this year is horrible and 22-23 was bad.
However, with that said, we have finished 1, 2nd and 3rd in our conference over the last 4 years. We won the conference tournament when we finished second and made it to the NCAAs. He is ...

Re: Where do we go from here?
NO, the AD, most likely - will blame injuries. Ramblermaniacs, this season is "Loyola's culture". Our team winning basketball games these past seven of nine years is an anomaly.

Re: Where do we go from here?
Look, this a poorly constructed team. We have no true low post scorer which effects everything. It's why we cannot get good spacing. The offensive movement is sporadic and when a teams wants to turn up the heat we melt like butter in a microwave. This is the first team since 2018 that has not had a ...

Re: LaSalle Preview and Game Thread -- 2/3/2026
Yes we did win yesterday. Some thoughts:
1. We got off to a another ridiculously bad start falling behind 12-0. It was good see the team not quit and to battle back. LaSalle was depleted in that they were missing two of their better players, but hey...we've been playing short handed and Kymani and ...

Re: Saint Joseph's Preview and Game Thread -- 1/27/2026
Chuck Love certainly can play, but he still needs a lot of improvement. He needs to get physically stronger, improve his handle, and he needs to get more consistent shooting the ball. He would also need to show he can physically hold up through the course of an entire year. Missing time with a knee ...

Re: Where do we go from here?
We welcome Porter back. Even if all we get at first are several 15-20 win seasons we'll get structure, discipline, system, culture reboot, and have identity on both ends of floor again. I think we'd all be happy here again.

Re: Saint Joseph's Preview and Game Thread -- 1/27/2026
Well, certainly not good. I get being rusty, but I do not get the lack of energy or emotion in that first half.
Drew basically threw the team under the bus after the game. He made a comment about how believed they could still be a good team, but it is on the players to want to a good team. In other ...

Re: Dayton Preview and Game Thread -- 1/16/2026
It would be good if Moore was 100% and can play. We will definitely need a another ball handler tonight despite only having 9 TOs against GM. Dayton pressures more and better than GM. I am excited to see Anderson tonight. With the injuries we have, he should get some good run tonight. Dayton is not ...
