Sorry, but that was absolutely brutal.

I heard at least 3 updates in the last few hours of Mully and Haugh that did not mention LU.

I was listening to the shows this morning. When they did the sports update each half hour, they recapped the college basketball scores from both the Northwestern game and the DePaul game. There was no mention of Loyola, the local team that made it to the Final Four last year. What a joke.

Sorry but that announcing crew was brutal. The play by play guy could not pronounce "Agunanne" and got to the point where he'd just say "Loyola" with the rebound or wait for Robinson to say something. His missteps weren't limited to that. Someone needs to tell Stephon Robinson to stop saying ...

Haven't been this excited for the start of the season in such a long time. Expectations have certainly been raised and how great is that!? I really hope the students get behind this team...can't believe we're talking about being just outside the top 25. Very cool.

Some interesting new tidbits in this interview, which I certainly enjoyed. We all have a pretty good sense at this point for what this guy is all about and what is important to him. We're lucky to have him...solid, solid individual that represents Loyola very well. Can't wait for the season to start.
