Re: Where do we go from here?

A couple quick thoughts:

(1) I don’t think Drew will be fired, but his seat will be very hot next year

(2) IF Drew were to be fired, whether we’d want Porter to come back isn’t as important as whether Porter would want to come back in that situation. Porter has always expressed sincere feelings on ...

Re: George Mason Preview and Game Thread -- 1/13/2026

It has been twenty plus years since I have posted here. Go Ramblers & Godspeed Brot you are missed. Hats off to JCT, for still running this board. Greetings, Big Joe Rambler.

I began watching Rambler basketball in 1993 chanting " Salthe Salthe" at a LU vs Depaul game at the Rosemont Horizon as a ...

Re: Mercyhurst Preview and Game Thread -- 11/6/2025

One thing I was thinking about last night: did we underestimate how big it was losing Sean Dwyer as the top assistant, especially so late in the Summer? The more I think about, that’s a big hit, especially early in the year with a lot of new players. Granted, it’s not so huge that we should be ...

Re: Mercyhurst Preview and Game Thread -- 11/6/2025

I've come to not put too much thought into Drew's lineups in games like this. He's clearly used these early games as an opportunity to test different lineups. The exception might be starting lineups, but even there I think the only two players that are cemented in starting roles are Miles and Moore ...

Re: Sister Jean 1919-2026

Such an amazing life. And the impact she had on Loyola goes well beyond the basketball court, as many of us have witnessed and experienced over the years.

I also saw news that Tony Parker passed away this week. I’m sure they’re all having a great discussion up there today

Re: Recruiting Class 2026

If he visited FSU this past weekend, when they hosted and beat Alabama and the campus was likely insanely fun, I’m kinda not feeling great about our chances here. That might be a bigger upset than the FSU win over Bama. Guess we’ll see.

Collin Paul announcing his commitment tomorrow evening ...

Re: Who will the new assistant be?

Well that seems like news out of left field. Was this floating around during the golf outing?

The timing might suck, but if it’s an NBA job I can’t be too surprised or disappointed.

Re: Sunday Scrimmage

Thanks for the summary for those of us that couldn’t make it.

Last year’s event was used as a fundraiser for our NIL, but with all of the changes and uncertainty that’s going on with all of that, I noticed that it was free this year. It sounds like it was basically the same type of scrimmage as ...
