Loyola came within two points in the fifth set from beating Northern Iowa in Cedar Rapids and gaining outright sixth place in women's volleyball. But they lost, tied for sixth with Bradley, and therefore lost the tiebreaker. So the women's volleyball squad is out of the conference tournament.
