Absolutely brutal. Losing the top two players in a dream season. Really feel for the team and Drake fans. Hope they can find a way to win out and get to Sunday in Arch Madness (against us) which should be enough for a bid.

Wow. What a devastating loss for Drake. Talk about bad luck. The Valley has two very good teams. It’s unfortunate to see one decimated by injuries.

Drake pulled away at the end. Another crazy good game from Yesufu, who's averaged 29.3 ppg over the last three games.

Wonder why we didn't offer Yesufu. He went to high school in Bolingbrook.

We got Kennedy out of that recruiting class-- very similar player in size and ability.

True, but it still pains me that a Conference rival swooped in and stole a recruit from our backyard.

Speaking of lost local recruits, watched the Michigan-Ohio State game last weekend. Michigan's point guard was grad transfer Mike Smith, who we recruited out of Fenwick before he picked Columbia.

He looked very good in scoring 10 points including 2 late free throws that sealed the win. Kind of built like Yesufu, short and sturdy.
