Anderson leaving is indeed a surprise. But it does make sense. I think Drew and the staff figure they need 3 transfers - 2 bigs and an experienced guard with some size that can score. And we only had 2 spots open. This creates the 3rd....I am guessing that Drew had a very difficult post season conversation with Damezi that led to him making the decision to enter the portal.

This is my thought as well, hopefully we already have some of the incoming players lined up, hence the need to clear up space. I do feel bad for Damezi because it seemed like he kept a positive attitude and tried to be helpful to the team despite whatever was keeping him off the court.

Noah Carter is in the transfer portal.

Noah Carter and Antonio Reeves would be nice additions here. They may both seek to go to P5 teams, like JFL did to DePaul, and Yesufu to Kansas.

Major programs for sure. Hopefully he doesn't languish on the bench like Yesufu did.

I'm surprised there is that high of interest in him. He's a sieve on defense, not in shape to play a wing and undersized for a post player. He has a lot of range as a shooter but a defensive minded school like Arkansas wouldn't seem to be a great fit.

Very interesting. 6'5 forward who put up 18.8 points and 9.5 rebounds in a competitive conference. Not really a threat from deep (28%) and struggled from the charity stripe (62%). But he's had a few impressive 15+ rebounds/15+ points performances.

Oof. Had no idea his shooting numbers were that godawful. Not sure how he's playable in our lineup, unless I'm missing something. Especially with Kennedy and Thomas's 3 pt shots both being very iffy this past year -- I think they'll improve that, but three guards/wings in the rotation with 25-30% 3PT in 2022 is a recipe for disaster. Seems like Ty's shot needs a lot of work as well.

We definitely need a 6'4/6'5 wing guy, but it needs to be a 3 and D guy. Shooting is a bigger priority than we realize.
