I don't know what to make of this, but Adam Miller from LSU hit the transfer portal today, and four days earlier a thread appeared on an LSU message board saying that Miller was transferring to Loyola.

Unfortunately the message board is subscription only and I'm not about to ante up any dough to read the thread, particularly since I suspect the source of the rumor might be the bogus Verbal Commits Twitter account which is now suspended.

Miller would be a great get, as unlikely as it is to materialize. He was a 4/5 star guard from Morgan Park via Peoria who won Illinois Mr. Basketball, started for Illinois as a frosh, then transferred to LSU. He never played there, having torn his ACL at a preseason practice.

Anderson leaving is indeed a surprise. But it does make sense. I think Drew and the staff figure they need 3 transfers - 2 bigs and an experienced guard with some size that can score. And we only had 2 spots open. This creates the 3rd....I am guessing that Drew had a very difficult post season conversation with Damezi that led to him making the decision to enter the portal.
