Wow, that guy's numbers jump off the page. He could be a star.
This kid would have two of eligibility left as well!

I've been living under a rock this weekend. Love all the news and pickups.

If anyone watched New Mexico this winter, Dotson is the real deal. Playing behind Donovan Dent was tough for him to crack the lineup. Shocked he didn't follow Pitino to Xavier, or stay to play with Olen, but perhaps they were all honest with each other and so here we are. This fills the backup void. Down the road, possibly starter minutes too. 3 years eligibility is huge.

Now I think we could have a minutes problem between all the guards. The backcourt depth is good.

IF there is truth in this potential recruitment and bidding war with TCU, Liutauras Lelevicius is better than numbers show. In the Fiba U20 he was awesome, averaging nearly 18 ppg. Then in the 2 prior years before enrolling at Oregon State he played in the biggest pro league in Lithuania. Numbers from Euro League don't give enough, but he played really really well last year on Oregon State - first year. I guess with Amos and Kymany, where the heck would you play this guy? He'd have to be a starter for us.

The good news is we're doing really well in the portal so far. The bad news is we do have to replace a lot of production next year.

That's likely to be the case for us and the rest of the A10, too. But it's also worth pointing out that as of now, Xavier Amos is the only one-year guy we've signed through the portal. Him and Kymany are the only two players on our roster who have just one year of eligibility remaining.

got 16 including walk on...12 on scholarship....Does anyone know the new roster limit rules? There was some chatter on the NU board (not always accurate) that the new rule was a roster of 15 which could be a combo of scholarship and walk ons.... If it was old school I would say we have one scholarship spot left and would not worry about the 4 current walk ons....??????

supposed to have a decision today
New roster limits will be introduced for NCAA D1 sports for the 2025-2026 academic year if the settlement is approved. These changes will allow more players to receive college athletic scholarships, but teams will also have to follow new maximum roster size limits.

In the table below, we break down the roster changes that will be made to every D1 sport
Basketball (M) 13 15 2 so an increase of 2...do not know if this means you can have more than 15. If you have 15 scholarships can you still have walk-ons?

Great point. Supposedly it's a roster limit, as opposed to the old scholarship limits.
