That Loyola is still in the tournament and Wichita State was bounced out in the first round with a 4 seed is so powerfully ironic, it seems like it can't possibly be true.

All year long I have screetched about how good our RAMBLERS are--I think reason as to why has finally dawned on me --We play this game same as a good hockey team plays theirs--On Offense our spacing is wide--same as Hockey--It dawned on me when I saw Custer hit from the corner--HE WAS WIDE OPEN --same as KANE blasting from outside the dot----ON Defense we just stick our noses into the play over and over again !! On D--Krut and Ingram are key--ALL THE TIME !!

If we continue this we will win--BUT must shoot well !!

Schoefield getting two fouls early has really helped us out. Gave us a chance to settle it down and pull back into it. Would Love for him to get a third foul here.

Congrats, that was an awesome game. I'm having fun finally rooting for an MVC team in the tourney. It's been a while since SIU has been in it, and I probably haven't had the chance to root for the MVC since UNI was routinely making the dance. Screw Wichita State! Good luck next week

And we are on to the sweet sixteen! What a journey this has been and we know there is no finish line.

Can we go farther? I don't even recognize what's reality anymore.

If we'd lost by 5 or even 15 points to Miami, that would be a reality I'd recognize.

If we'd beat Miami on Ingram's last-second shot and crapped the bed to Tennessee, I'd still recognize that reality.

But beating both teams on a shot in the last five seconds to go on to the Sweet 16 is too damn crazy. That's fantasy/dream stuff that can never possibly be true...

I came on here again to congratulate you guys on your victory over TN and wish you well in the S16.

I noticed 3 of my other Shocker mates had done as I did on your first win over Miami.

However, I didn't see any of your conference mates wishing you well, but I did see you managed to put crap on WSU.

Well, have fun with your good buds in the Valley and you (all 7 or 8 of you that post here) can stick it where the sun don't shine.
