Last year, the CIT seemed to have a slight advantage on the RPI of participating teams, including Akron, Missouri State, Cleveland State, Ohio, Eastern Michigan, and Wright State-- all of whom had 20 or more wins. The CBI had BCS schools like Texas A&M, Penn State, and Oregon State, in addition to Illinois State, UTEP, Wyoming, Stony Brook, Princeton, etc.

There are about 8 MAC teams, all still in contention in their tournament, that will be going for NCAA, NIT, and C-tournament bids. As two are eliminated tomorrow and two more on Thursday, the CIT will fill up with better teams.

Never followed the C tournaments as close as this year. What Evansville is doing is smart. If the goal is to get people to the games sites every day gives a school more time to promote the game.

If you do not know until Sunday night it makes it hard to plan for a game on Tuesday.

Hopefully at this time next week we will have played and won a game.

Initially, I was all for playing in the CIT or CBI. Based on the selection of teams in the CIT thus far, I'm not so sure anymore. I'd love to watch another Rambler game as much as the next Ramblermaniac, but is it really worth it?

I wasnt thrilled about the Vegas tournament earlier this year ... Till we won it. What we gives us a chance to win SOMETHING I'm all in for. Beggers can't be choosers I guess. Lets just see if we can play another game or THREE this season

And for those that haven't been following, Boise State has now reached the AP Top 25, and has the #1 seed in the Mountain West tournament.

So we do have a win over a top-25 team! ;-)

Big question. to me at least--WHY have we NOT been picked as yet ??? We have not heard from either Tourney , even though Evansville has been and has agreed to host This plus teams that we really are better than have also agreed to play. Here we sit--I really do not understand the workings of either tourney--BUT one thing I do know is that we . in years past HAVE been passed over-Maybe some of you guys know what is going on--I certainly do not--AND the days are going by.
Help me out here-- Thanks !!

I'm pretty sure that the CIT/CBI don't announce until their field is complete. The reporting we are hearing is from the schools themselves. So, we may have accepted but are waiting to announce.
