According to an article I just read in the Trib, it appears that the DePewls overstated their attendance by some 5000 folks . Article says they sat an average of 2100 as opposed to the 7000 plus they said attended on average. They are selling out ?? Knowing Chgo's leadership, this little item will be overlooked. Less than stellar Ethics by the Lincoln Pk crowd , I would say. I like the way we did it--REIMAGINE !!! The old fashioned way--we earned our place. New digs all around and an upgrade in Conference Coach Meyer must be spinning round and round in his grave. Oh ! For the days of the Mikans, Whitey Kahan et al !! It was a fun battle then. Now, I would not give them the time of day !!! |
