Eighth seeded Loyola knocked off #9 Bradley 75-69 this afternoon in St. Charles, MO. They'll face #1 seed Indiana State at noon Friday in the quarterfinals of the MVC tournament. Loyola and ISUb split their season series, with the Sycamores winning 66-45 on February 28 in Terre Haute, and the Ramblers winning 71-58 at Gentile Arena on February 2.

ISUb won their last six regular season games to tie Wichita State for the regular conference title. The Sycamores beat out Wichita State for the top seed based on the strength of schedule tiebreaker. The Ramblers win over Bradley was only their second victory in their last ten games.

Funny how both the men's and women's teams beat Bradley before facing Indiana State....

Let's hope the results tomorrow against Indiana State will not be the same as those of the men.

Ramblers look exhausted, but managed to play #1 Indiana State to a 29-29 tie at the half.

Really good quality streaming feed if anyone wants to see if the Ramblers can stage the upset: http://www.valley-live.tv/

Ramblers come up short and lose 61-52. Came within two or three points with five minutes left, but couldn't knock down some shots late.

Ramblers end the season at 11-21.

Considering all the injury problems, I'd say a fairly decent first year for Swoopes and Co.!
