The Loyola men's soccer team took the season all the way down to meeting #20 Saint Louis on their field for the A10 title. After a full 90 minutes and an overtime it went to PKs, and the Ramblers lost 3-2.

Loyola's RPI going into the tournament was 47; they won on the road against RPI 68 Duquesne to get to the final-- who knows what a 0-0 OT result going to PKs on the road at #18 will do.... but there is a TINY TINY TINY outside chance Loyola gets a bid to the NCAA. There are 48 teams in the tournament, 28 conference automatics and 25 at large bids.

Loyola comes in at 9-2-7, with only two losses-- one to Duquesne on the road and one at St. Louis on an own goal (how big would a tie be there instead?) Oh well. Great season.
