With 69 seconds left in their season, trailing 1-0 to the undefeated and 9th-ranked Missouri State team, the Ramblers tied the score on an amazing header from a free kick into box.

Loyola goes on through 2 OTs and wins on penalty kicks to punch a ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

Ramblers play Kentucky in Lexington on Thursday. The SEC doesn't have men's soccer, so they play in C-USA. I think this is a good draw for LU.

One of only 16 schools to send both men's and women's teams to the NCAA soccer tourneys.

If anyone knows if there is an Ireland's or other watch party for this game, please let the rest of us know.

Kentucky gets a late 2nd half penalty kick to tie the game with less than 10 minutes left, and wins in the second overtime, 2-1.

Great season, and I'm not going to second guess the strategy in the 2nd half and OT. We got to the NCAA Tournament and came within 9 minutes of a shootout on the road against a school with an athletic budget 6 times what we spend.

tough loss....If you mean strategy,,,I wish they had been a little more aggressive offensively after the game became tied...but Kentucky looked bigger and quicker.....and I love soccer but frankly dont know much about over all strategy....but really great job for the men and women.....one of 16 and most of em the big boys.....Congrats
