The men's soccer team made a huge leap forward this season. Picked to finish third in the conference, a lot of people thought Loyola would be pretty good, but not as fantastic as they were-- especially in the early part of the season where the Ramblers started off by beating pre-season #15 Indiana 2-0 in an exhibition in Bloomington.

The season included six consecutive shutouts, a win over a ranked Utah Valley team at a neutral site, winning the conference regular season title, an at large NCAA bid, and a first round NCAA win-- all firsts for the program. And Loyola ends the season ranked at #21.

I'm hoping we can make another stride forward next season. It's fun to watch.
